MY PRETTY LITTLE GARDEN

It`s been cold, wet and windy here today...
So this post isn`t the most appropriate, specially since Autumn is now so close to our doors!
But who doesn`t like to see photos of other peoples gardens? Well, I know that I do!
So please do bear with me!
And I hope that you will enjoy seeing my little garden or as my little boy calls it...

-MUMMY`S JUNGLE!

Enjoy!

I think that I said in a different post, that my garden at the back is very very small!
Basically this is it!:-)
There`s no grass and consists of just flower pots!
Which are time consuming to water...
Specially since now that we have a conservatory roof over our pergola!
But this past Summer is been a real delight to be able to sit out here...
And enjoy my little garden... Even when it was raining!
Somehow it feels like a summer house!
One day I do dream of having a pretty country garden...
But for now... I`m very grateful for what we have!
Anyway, do you like my chandelier?
I tried to persuade hubby to wire it up... but sadly because of safety reasons...
We decided not to!
So its just for display purposes!
Still looks lovely when the crystals catch the sun... Looks very whimsical!
Some pretty flowers!
And rays of sunshine!! I forgot how it looks like!:-)
My flowers did look pretty when these photos were taken...
Sadly they have now gone... farewell my friends!
I`m looking forward to see you all again next year!!
I love this cute cherub planter... I had it for 3 years now!
He`s starting to look his age...
And every year that goes by... I love him, even more!:-)
This year I decided to try growing Auricula flowers...
In my little green house.
But they are proving to be hard to please!
So hopefully next year they will behave themselves...
And they will flower... Just for me!:-)
Can you spot my otters water feature?
... Below...
Pretty hydrangeas are already drying...
Don`t they look pretty?
So fragile to touch... as if they are pretty aged tissue paper!
My flower baskets are still doing well...
...And are winning against the not to summery weather!
I do love a bargain...
For .50p I got an ?
...Iron candelabra!
My French vintage iron scrolls... still love them!
And always will.
If I ever move house, they will come with us, for sure!
Another delightful bargain, below...
Bargain number three was this wall water fountain.
Okay the pattern  isn`t the prettiest...
But the shape was perfect for the empty space that I had on my wall.
I saw it on my local auction website and decided to phone and leave a bit of £20.00.

No one else was interested... so I got it for £10.00!
Yuppie! Happy days!
So I thought!
When hubby plugged it in... we were disappointed with the sound!
It sounded like a tap dripping...
Even my little boy makes more of a sound when he goes to the toilet.:-)
So we decided to make it into a planter, instead!
Also, because of our garden being only small...
We had to make the most of the available space,
so we decided to hung baskets on the gate too!
So when we open the gate, passers by... can appreciate our flowers too!
(That water stain on the wall... has now been re-painted.)
On the photo below...
You can see Alan hanging terracotta pots.
This year we bought 6 beautiful white hydrangea plants and we have planted those in them.
I`m looking forward to see how they will look like when in full bloom, next year!
Hopefully, they will look great, amongst the white climbing roses...
That we have growing on the pergola!
And so you have it! My little garden!

Please do come back soon!
I would love to see you again!

TODAY I`M DREAMING OF...
WELL TODAY I DECIDED TO PAINT OUR SITTING ROOM FURNITURE...
SO I`M HOPING THAT IT WILL TURN OUT OKAY!
SLEEP TIGHT EVERYONE!
