SWITZERLAND + AUCTION BUYS + MY GARDEN FLOWERS

First of all, I hope that my sweet English bloggers friends, are having a great Bank Holiday!
...
My daughter Nichole, had a great time and arrived late last night.
After spending a wonderful week in beautiful Switzerland.
Thanks to my 20 year old brother for looking after Nichole...
Or, maybe it was the other way around!:-)
We sure missed her so much! Anyway, she`s out again enjoying herself.
This time she`s out with a group of girlfriends... off to the cinema!
How is it possible that my 12 year old has more of a social life than moi!:-)
...
Maybe it`s because I prefer to spend hubbies hard earned £££££
with pretty treasures that we can admire and treasure everyday, instead!:-)
So with no car boots to go to, due to bad weather,
I had to consoled myself with putting a few bids at my local auction!
Here are their details... In case if you were wondering.
And what caught my eye this time, I hear you say!
I wish I had the space for these two pieces...
And space in my garden for this pretty set...
The iron gate below, would also make a nice feature...
The seller had a reserve of £18.00.
Sadly it didn`t sell.
There`s always quite a few vintage suitcases, on offer...
And shabby furniture waiting for a make-over...
Unusual and quirky treasures...
And beautiful glassware... which make ideal gifts!
My favourite this week...
Are the pair of Victorian roses vases!
Beautiful tea sets, are always so tempting!
Or beautiful ornate, blue and white ceramics, perhaps?
Or, this beautiful Victorian huge jug and bowl...
Which is adorned with pretty delicate roses and bows...
Cute pair of Victorian figurines...
Beautiful silver plated set...
Vintage metal box hat keeper...
Delicate embroidery dressing table set...
I left a few cheeky phone bids for the treasures below...
as I couldn`t go to this particular auction...
The next photos are of the treasures that I wanted!
But sadly it just wasn`t meant to be...

Maybe it was a good thing... Considering this month is such an expensive one!
With school uniforms to buy and so on...
But I`m quite sad for not winning this gorgeous vintage chalk ware figure.
Even my bid of £20.00... failed me!!!
I left a bid of £7.00 for this pretty vintage cigarette box.
but sadly, no luck either...
And I only own this Victorian glass cabinet, on the photo below...
For £15.00.
And this iron candelabra.
For £10.00 plus commission!
Now as promised, I would like to share with you some photos of my garden.
Sadly I only have a very small garden. Some people wouldn`t even call it a garden,
instead they would called it a back yard.
Although I must prefer to call it:
"My Little Garden".
...
At the front of our home,
we are quite lucky to have a even smaller garden or yard... if you prefer.
(The photo below, was taken last year. We have changed it, quite a lot since...)
And I say lucky because on the other house that we had before
moving to this present home sweet home...
we didn`t had any...
So we always use to have people walking past, right in front of our front door...
drunks would usually leave their beer cans on our windowsill or worst,
I couldn`t have any pots with flowers outside,
because they either would be stolen or it could be and hazard for passers by...
Hence the reason that I`m not complaining for just having a small garden.
...
By the way, allow me to show you my recent painted birds table/planter?
That I got at my local auction for £20.00!
I`m still waiting for cute little birdies... to make an appearance...
And for them to enjoy the yummy feast that I specially prepared.
Maybe they will come, when there won`t be any more blackberries that are growing not so far away from my home...
The two photos below, are of the pretty roses that I choose to adorn the bird table/planter!
Hopefully, they will be very happy in here.
And as promised... photos of my now painted in Farrow & Ball archway!
I can`t wait when it will be covered with this highly fragant climber rose...
Isn`t she lovely?
Another thing that I L.O.V.E is...
Cute garden ornaments!
I`m leaving you with some other flowers that I have and had... Yes!
Some of these have gone already and I will have to wait till next year
to enjoy them again once again...
So I`m glad to have taken some photos to remember by...
Okay. Quite a lot of photos to remember by...:-)
I just can`t resist their delicate beauty!
Enjoy!
"FLOWERS ARE THE SWEETEST THINGS GOD EVER MADE,
AND FORGOT TO PUT A SOUL INTO."
And more beautiful roses...
This red velvety one, was a special gift from my hubby!
"THE ROSE IS A FLOWER OF LOVE. THE WORLD HAS CLAIMED IT FOR CENTURIES.
PINK ROSES ARE FOR LOVE HOPEFUL AND EXPECTANT.
WHITE ROSES ARE FOR DEAD AND FORSAKEN.
BUT THE RED ROSES, AH THE RED ROSES ARE FOR LOVE TRIUMPHANT."
And I couldn`t resist buying the pretty one below!
"TAKE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES."

TODAY I`M DREAMING...
THAT JODIE-LEE`S EBAY PARCELS WILL ARRIVE THIS WEEK...
SO I CAN FINALLY FINISH DECORATING HER BEDROOM!
I`VE BEEN WAITING FOR NEARLY 2 WEEKS NOW!!!
HOW FRUSTRATING!
