First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your birthday wishes to Daniel!
...
although I do have a pergola, which recently we put a roof over it...
so to me it does feel like as if I have my own Summer house.
A month ago or so I bought these vintage shelves at my local auction...
The owner had a reserve of £15.00, plus I had to pay for the auctioneer commission...
Although it was a bit more that what I wanted to pay for them,
I knew that it was the right size for the only empty space available
in my little garden...
I gave it a super easy make-over by simply painting them cream and then distressing it...
And here it is now... full to the brim with pretties!
And I sure L.O.V.E every single one!

Should we have a close up look?
I`m so excited to show you!:-)

And what about a more detailed look?
Don`t be shy!
It`s okay if you get a bit closer!:-)

If it was up to me I would have pretty vintage teacups...
Everywhere!

And the same goes for darling vintage plates...
And I also share a soft spot for these delicate vintage bone china posies!

Most of these treasures are vintage.
But I had to include this pretty new bird wall plaque...
...as I love birds and everything that is pretty bird related!

A vintage teapot with simple ivy...
... Also makes a pretty and inexpensive feature!
And the photos below...
Are close ups of my beautiful vintage jugs!

While I was on a painting mood, I finally painted my archway garden mirror too...
which was long overdue, I must say!:-)
It was quite fiddly and time consuming to paint it...
As I couldn`t use masking tape or remove the mirror from its frame.
So it took me a while to remove the excess paint, afterwards!
But all the hard work was worth it, in the end!
Me thinks!
And look! There`s free space on top!! And we can`t have that!!!
No! No! No!
I know... Let`s put some pretty plates!
That`s much better! Don`t you think?
Next on my list of jobs to do... is a vintage floral bunting!
The owner had a reserve of £15.00, plus I had to pay for the auctioneer commission...
Although it was a bit more that what I wanted to pay for them,
I knew that it was the right size for the only empty space available
in my little garden...

TODAY I`M DREAMING OF...
...THIS ONE IS EASY!
I`M DREAMING OF ONE DAY HAVING A SUMMER HOUSE,
WHICH I CAN CALL MY OWN!
