Thank you so much for your praise comments, regarding my first handmade cushion!
Although I can`t take all the credit myself!
Sweet Hubie, helped me threading the sewing machine (it just looks sooooo complicated...)
I still don`t have the hang of it! But I will, someday!
Practise makes perfect, and all that!:-)
He also helped me when I was struggling to follow some of the instructions!:-)
What would I do without him! Huh...

Anyway we had a lovely weekend... and I hope that so did you!
...
Saturday afternoon, while in town I went to one of my favourite charity shops,
and came home with this exquisite teacups + saucers + side plate set.
There`s one teacup missing...
But with the £4.50, price tag...
For the set!
Not bad, at all!
Its now taking pride of place in my dining room mantel...
Aren`t the pink blush Roses to die for?
(Literally speaking, of course!:-)
Saturday evening we were invited to go to St. Peter`s Club...

which was our wedding venue, 13 years ago!
And it hasn`t changed one bit... if that is a good thing or a bad thing...
I`m not quite sure!
Good friends of ours had organized a Friends Of Healey Nab Lancashire Night!
Warning: My photos below... aren`t the best!
The light was very bright!! I promise that it wasn`t nothing to do with excessive alcohol intake!

Which was complete with...
Lancashire Poetry
He was speaking proper old Lancashire...
But he was so enthusiastic and his mannerisms were so brilliant, that it didn`t matter, one bit!:-)
Dancers
Singers
Delicious Hot Pot
(Which was the perfect warming food... it was pouring down outside!)
Towards the end everyone was invited to join in... dancing!
Sadly I was a bit too over dressed!
Its a reall pain when that happens. Everyone was so casual dressed, and then there was ME!
All dressed up!!!
With high heels and wearing a slight short dress... so sadly I gave dancing a miss!
I was and still am gutted to bits... it seemed so much fun!
Although it was nice to see our shy 12 year old coming out of her shell and joining in...
Our other two munchkins also enjoyed themselves!
Although their dance moves, were slight different from the rest of the folks...
Our cheeky Jodie-Lee!
And Daniel!
It sure was a wonderful night to remember!
It felt has if we were transported in time...
And the only thing missing... was the warmth of a roaring fire!
As I first went inside, I was like.... Oh my goodness! Someone take me out of here!
I didn`t think it was something that I would have enjoyed... but how wrong was I?
....
So much so, that the "Mosses" are already planning going to another Lancashire night...
And this time we want to take Alan`s parents with us!
And there will be no high heels and short dresses from me,
so if you happen to see a woman behaving rather crazy on the dance floor...
You know, that it will be ME! :-)

TODAY I`M DREAMING OFF...
NOT TO JUDGE A BOOK,
BY ITS COVER!
