First of all I would like to wish you all a lovely week ahead!
Not much happened here this past weekend.
Although we did arrange to meet up with my brother and his mate and off we went
to the cinema to watch Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio.

I had a very layed back kind of Sunday and stayed in my nightie all day!
I love days like these!
I love days like these!
Me and hubby also decided that our kids should start to make their own Sunday dinner.
Supervised, of course!
We really want them to become more independent!

Nichole had pot noodles, while Jodie-Lee made her own baguette butty with salad!
And it was Daniels turn to sleep over on Saturday night at grandmas and grandads!

I was in a mood for baking...and the photo below is what I baked.
I used a Portuguese recipe, called (pao de lo), which is very similar to sponge cake.
And I wanted to make a white cream filling, also a Portuguese recipe,
but sadly I didn`t have all the ingredients...
So I quickly rushed to google and found a condensed milk drizzle recipe to go on top.
It was still very tasty though!
Unfortunately the car boot season was very disappointing this Summer...
mostly due to rain and cancellations because the field being very wet.
So sadly I think I only went three times this year!:-(

And one of those times, the photos below are of the treasures that I just couldn`t resist...
... and had to come home with me!
I just love cherubs! And these are too cute!
Although this one is vintage and only cost £2.00.
Just to buy the plates hungers would cost me £1.25 each.
So a good bargain, indeed!
And they are completed with nice frames!
And I was quite lucky to win these 3 huge rugs last week!
I saw them in their website and thought about putting a low bid, never expecting to win.
But surprise, surprise! They are mine now...
One of them will go in my kitchen once is done and maybe the other one in the attic room.
Although they do need a good clean first.

And the price... £15.00 only!!! For the lot!
They didn`t sell on the first week.
And after some thought I decided to put a bid of the starting asking price of £10.00
and now they are mine too!

and although they aren`t in pink...
I still find it quite Romantic looking! And very Marie Antoinette inspired!
The ones in my bedroom... some cost no more than £1.00, while others over £3.00...
so I think my box for £10.00 was a good buy!

was the ornate iron scrolls that I shown in another post.
This one didn`t sell either, last week!
I kept wondering were to put it in my home.
(I think that I told you before that I love things that are made of iron.)
So after a lot of debating... I decided to put a bid of the asking price of £18.00 and I won it!

but I would love to put it above my two kitchen windows... for an unusual feature!
...
And here you have it... my latest spending!
I always enjoy to see what you bought... so I thought to share my buys too!
I hope I haven`t bored you too much!:-)
