FURNITURE MAKE-OVER = LIVING ROOM...

First of all... I want to apologise E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E, for not been visiting you much!

The start of this week, I just wasn`t feeling the cheery myself...
which explains my absence.

Although by Thursday I started to feel a lot better, so much so,
that I finally decided to take the plunge painting my living room furniture.
...
I`ve been waiting to paint it for ages... although I wasn`t sure if it would look alright...
So here it goes...

I`m so pleased with how it looks now!
So I decided to paint the little glass cabinet too!!

My pretty treasures just look so much better...
... Now that the cabinet has been painted!
Everything just seems to come to live...
Literally speaking...
Of course!
Lol.I also decided to make a collage with floral vintage plates...
Although I`m not 100% sure if I like it...
I`m wondering if I got too carried away...
What do you think?
I just L.O.V.E to be surrounded with pretty treasures...
That sometimes its so easy too get carried away!

I also decided to paint our huge coffee table...
Hubby and my mum weren`t very impressed with my decision at first.
Our walnut coffee table was very expensive to buy! Ouch:-)
So I`m hoping to prove them wrong!

Anyway I`m already starting to see good results...
The pretty raised motifs, just seem to stand out, a lot more!
This week... I will paint this glass cabinet too!
And then I will show you photos of my living room!
Which is now looking a lot brighter.

I can`t belive that for a moment... I considered painting it pink!!!
What was I thinking!:-)
I think its Cath Kidston`s fault!:-)
I like the way that she uses bright colours in her furniture.
And for a moment, I thought it might look okay in my living room.
But I`m glad that I quickly changed my mind!
Hot pink just wouldn`t look right in my Classic Inspired English Room!
Over the coming days, in between painting and doing chores...
I`m hoping to visit as many as you, as possible!

Which happens to be by the side of the glass wall cabinet.

And guess what... I also decided to paint it white!:-)
I`m thinking to put a nice piece of fabric, instead of this print!
Which now doesn`t suit my living room.
