Yuppie! Yuppie! Let the Summer holiday`s start!
Although with the wet weather that we are having...
it is so easy to forget that it is actually Summer!
...
My 3 munchkins have finished school yesterday!
And all week they brought home bags full of school work that they have done through the year.
(Photos below are some of my favourites, from Daniel and Jodie-Lee.)

J.L also received an Award for being the best student in her class.
(Sadly this year, it seems that the school doesn`t have enough funds
to engrave the children names on their awards.)
So grandma offered to pay for it!
And she also got an award for 100% attendance!
She`s been getting one of these, every year for the past three years...
So it is a great accomplishment itself!
She`s already said... that she will be sad for not going to school for the next 5 weeks!
She definitely didn`t get that from me... as I can remember so well...
I hated going to school!;)
...
Our Nikki also got a good school report...Although one of her teachers pointed out,
that she must wear her tie accordingly... Always!
It seems that it is the fashion to tie it to make it shorter?
Anyway, that can easily be sorted!
...
Although our Dani boy... he is a different case all together!
He must pay more attention and work harder! His teacher also said that he has great potential...
he just has to put more effort into his work!
(I suppose, me and Alan will have to help him with that...)
...
It will be Dani`s Birthday in August, so to celebrate I decided to make some fairy cakes for him
to share with his school mates, on the last day of school.
I`ve tried these new fairy cakes mix bottles thinking that it would facilitate
making over 35 fairy cakes...
But in fact it was quite a stressful affair!
Especially since the batter got stuck in the bottom,
and then when I`ve managed to set it loose, it was lumpy!
So in the end I got my mixer machine to mix it for me.
And the taste was okay! But putting it politely...
I won`t buy these shake fairy cake mix ever again!
Hence... not having any patience left to decorate them with icing!
At the end of school every year, we like to reward our children with a little something...
Normally we would take them to Toy`s R`Us...
But this year we decided to buy something for their bedrooms instead!
Which I think they will appreciated it much better, maybe not now, but in the near future...
than having more toys or more games...
So for Jodie-Lee we gave her this lovely vintage trio of porcelain butterflies.
(Which I got at my local auction for £8.00)
It will go nicely in her bedroom walls...
And this beautiful hand painted mini dressing table, which comes complete with swivel mirror...
And it is a very useful jewellery box too!
Beautiful + Useful= Perfect
Not bad for only £9.99 at my local charity shop!
She`s already been busy, storing her jewellery...

Like mother like daughter!
A girl can never have too many accessories!:-)
...
For our Nichole... we were very lucky and won with a bid of £60.00...
...a lovely Victorian iron bed frame.
This past Tuesday... at the auction!
I always wanted one of these beds!
Oops! I forgot that it isn`t for ME!...
...
I`m still on the look out for what to give to Daniel!
But I`m thinking, maybe a mirror or a new rug or maybe some shelves?
...
I`m leaving you with some photos of what Dani & J.L
gave to their teachers and teacher assistant...
For their THANK YOU GIFTS!
Which they are well deserved for doing such a brilliant job,
teaching and always being there for my little ones!
I had great fun making the lavender hearts and putting these sets together!

TODAY I`M DREAMING OFF...
THAT MY CHILDREN WILL HAVE AS GOOD TEACHERS,
AS THEY HAD THIS PAST YEAR!
it is so easy to forget that it is actually Summer!
