Hubby says its to do with my Blogger's server... So I decided to write this post, instead.
I want to show you these beautiful vintage velvet cushions, that I bought from a local charity shop.
(This past Saturday.)
(This past Saturday.)
For only...
Each!
I added new inners... as I like my cushions to be well stuffed.
And decided to hand stitch these beautiful doilies...
Don`t they look pretty?
(Amongst my tapestry cushion.)
And the photo below is how this corner of my living room is now looking...
With my new cushions!
Sadly I didn`t have any more of the same doilies to add to the other cushions...
So instead I soaked some vintage doilies that I had, in boiling water and soda crystal for a few hours...
As I really wanted them to be white.
Sadly, they didn`t turn out as white as I wanted them to be...
So, reluctantly I added some weak bleach to them...
So, reluctantly I added some weak bleach to them...
Here is how they are looking... On my velvet cushions!
I also have been busy finishing a vintage tapestry that I won on Ebay a while ago...
Isn`t the box... Beautiful?
Here is the finished result!
Ready to go to my tapestry wall!
Ready to go to my tapestry wall!
Another vintage tapestry that I was lucky to win... was the one below!
Again, not completed! Although this one, come without any wool for me to finished it!
So sweet hubby volunteered to go to Hobby Craft that happens to be 25 minutes drive from us...
So we could try to match the missing wool.
Sadly there was only a close match...
And after spending one day doing it... I noticed that it just wasn`t looking right!
I panicked for a bit... Money and time... WASTED!!!
Day after... I came across a frame, which had a pretty picture in it...
But it just had to be!
I decided to get rid of the picture and use the frame for the tapestry.
And on the photo below... You can see how nice it now looks, regardless!
I`m over the moon, how my tapestry wall is looking!
And there`s only one tapestry missing...
And then my tapestry wall will be finished and I will be able to share photos with you all!
So please... Do bear with me!:-)
...
By the way... What do you think of this bright vintage jug?
I saw it on my local auction website and thought I just had to have it!
I did pay £10.00 for it...
But I love it so much!
Something else that caught my attention on the auction....
Was these vintage shelves!
Again... Sadly not quite a bargain! At £20.00 plus commission!
The seller had a reserve price!
Although they are the perfect size for my bathroom...
And I have been looking for a similar one for ages!
That`s my excuse, anyway!Lol
I already painted it...
And when hubby will have a minute spare, he will hang it on my wall...
And I can`t wait to add pretty treasures to it!
(Hopefully, I will be able to show it to you soon, too.)
I think that`s it... I will try again, tomorrow... to leave you comments!
Which I always LOVE to do! I`m just hoping that the server will be working!
TODAY I`M DREAMING OFF...
THAT`S EASY!
SERVER... PLEASE GET BACK TO WORK!LOL
